The new Amflow PX and Amflow PR ranges have created huge interest, and one of the biggest questions riders are asking is simple:
Which Amflow bike should I buy – PX or PR?
Both platforms share a lot of the same Amflow DNA: lightweight carbon frames, mullet wheel setups, adjustable geometry, Avinox technology and serious full-power eMTB performance. But they are built with slightly different priorities in mind.
In simple terms, the PX is the lighter, more performance-focused platform, while the PR is the more accessible and practical option with a removable battery and exceptional value.

The most important thing to understand is that the Amflow PX and Amflow PR are not the same bike with different parts. They are two different platforms built around slightly different priorities.
The PX is the lighter and more performance-focused of the two. It uses a lighter carbon frame and a high-density 700Wh integrated battery that allows the bike to stay in the 20kg class. The PR uses a heavier carbon frame and a larger 800Wh removable battery, putting it in the 22kg class.
On the trail, that means the PX is the more agile, more responsive bike, while the PR gives you more battery capacity and the convenience of easy battery removal and swapping.
This is one of the clearest differences between the two bikes.
Both bikes are also compatible with a 600Wh range extender depending on frame size, so either platform can be configured for very long rides.
The motor story is where things get really interesting.
The PR Carbon Pro still uses the M2S motor and can deliver up to 1500W in Boost mode. The key difference is that the PX platform can sustain higher output more effectively, thanks in part to its battery design and lower overall system weight.
In simple terms: the PR Carbon Pro still gives you huge peak power when you want it, but the PX is the platform designed to fully exploit the M2S motor for maximum performance.
This is worth considering when comparing the higher-end models in the range.
The PX Carbon Pro includes an enhanced ownership package, designed to support riders pushing the bike to its limits.
