Drawing on advanced technology and ingenious design, the TREK Fuel EXe 9.8 GX AXS T-Type elevates e-mountain biking to a whole new level. From rocky ascents to windy trails, this bike takes on every challenge with ease, thanks to its lightweight carbon-fibre frame, cutting-edge motor, and precise wireless shifting technology.

The bike’s OCLV Mountain Carbon frame houses a fully encased 360 Wh battery along with a TQ harmonic pin ring transmission. The smart charging port, sleek integrated LED display, and discretionary handlebar remote add to the bike’s advanced features. As for the suspension, the 150 mm RockShox Lyrik Select+ fork with DebonAir spring and Charger 2.1 RC damper and 140 mm RockShox SuperDeluxe Select+ rear suspension guarantee a smooth ride on even the roughest terrains.
Plus, the Fuel EXe 9.8 is fortified with a SRAM's GX AXS wireless transmission to ensure remarkably swift shifts, regardless of the load.
The Fuel EXe 9.8 redefines the e-mountain biking experience by blending traditional biking elements with state-of-the-art technology. With a transmission suitable for the most rugged trails, minimalist cockpit due to wireless shifting, and a high-performing RockShox suspension setup, you’re geared for some extreme trail tackling. Despite its advanced features, the bike retains the feel of a traditional mountain bike, thanks to design elements like the integrated battery that can be easily removed with a simple Allen key.
An optional feature is the TQ-HPR50 motor, noted for being small, silent, and immensely powerful. Unlike regular motors which use gears and belts that consume space and are prone to noise and damage, the TQ-HPR50 employs a harmonic pin-ring drive transmission that’s exceptionally quiet and delivers a natural-feeling ride.

Bike Build & Delivery
Every eBike is fully built, checked by our workshop before dispatch or collection.
If you have selected our white glove delivery service, the bike will come to you ready to ride and the driver can help with some basic bike setup (Saddle height and suspension) at your doorstep.
Please be aware if you haven’t selected our white glove delivery service the bike will require some assembly, which we recommend be carried out by an experienced mechanic. See assembly instructions here
