The SCOTT Addict 40 is a fast, comfortable carbon road bike that blends modern performance with a more relaxed riding position, making it ideal for everything from quick evening rides to long days in the saddle.
Built around SCOTT’s HMF carbon frame, the Addict 40 is designed to feel light, responsive and efficient while offering noticeably more comfort than a pure race bike. The geometry uses a taller stack and shorter reach, helping you maintain a more natural position without losing the sharp handling and lively ride feel expected from a high-performance road bike.
The frame is also engineered with increased vertical compliance to help absorb road buzz and rough surfaces. With clearance for tyres up to 38mm, the Addict 40 offers plenty of versatility too, allowing you to run larger tyres for added comfort, grip and mixed-surface riding.
A standout feature is the Shimano 105 Di2 2x12-speed electronic drivetrain, which delivers smooth, fast and precise shifting with very little effort at the lever. A 50/34T chainset paired with an 11-34T cassette gives a broad range of gears for climbing, fast flat riding and longer endurance routes.
The Syncros RP2.0 Disc wheelset provides a durable and dependable setup for everyday riding, while 34mm Schwalbe ONE folding tyres strike a good balance between speed and comfort.
Shimano 105 hydraulic disc brakes give strong, consistent braking in all conditions, while a Syncros carbon seatpost, integrated frame storage and included handlebar tool add extra practicality.

Bike Build & Delivery
All our bikes are built in store and thoroughly inspected, before carefully packing back up for shipping. If you have selected our white glove delivery service, the bike will come to you ready to ride and the driver can help with some basic bike setup (Saddle height and suspension) at your doorstep. Please be aware if you haven’t selected our white glove delivery service the bike will require some assembly, which we recommend be carried out by an experienced mechanic.
