Nukeproof Scout Comp
The Nukeproof Scout Comp pairs the Scout aluminium hardtail chassis with a RockShox Pike fork, SRAM Eagle 70 T-Type gearing and SRAM DB8 Stealth brakes. It is a build for riders who enjoy the challenge of a hardtail and want the equipment to keep pushing their trail riding.
The 140mm RockShox Pike fork handles front suspension duties, while the SRAM Eagle 70 T-Type groupset is paired with a 10-52T cassette. SRAM DB8 Stealth brakes and Schwalbe Magic Mary 2.4-inch Standard Soft tyres complete a build aimed at riders who spend their time on proper mountain bike trails.
The Scout rewards smooth riding, good line choice and an active stance. Its geometry is designed to balance climbing efficiency with descending stability, giving you a platform for developing your technique as the trails become more demanding.
Choose your frame and wheel size
Scout 275 uses 27.5-inch wheels and comes in Small and Medium. Scout 290 uses 29-inch wheels and comes in Medium, Large, XL and XXL. Medium is available in both wheel sizes, so check the full size option when ordering. The 27.5-inch version suits riders who favour easy changes of direction, while the 29-inch version offers the rollover benefit of larger wheels.
An X-Fusion Manic LC dropper post lets you lower the saddle for descents, with 125mm drop on Small, 150mm on either Medium version and 170mm on Large through XXL. Nukeproof Neutron handlebars are also matched to size: 780mm wide on Small and Medium, and 800mm on Large through XXL.
For riders who enjoy choosing their lines, carrying speed through corners and making the most of every trail feature, the Scout Comp puts the appeal of a hardtail front and centre.

Bike Build & Delivery
All our bikes are built in store and thoroughly inspected, before carefully packing back up for shipping. If you have selected our white glove delivery service, the bike will come to you ready to ride and the driver can help with some basic bike setup (Saddle height and suspension) at your doorstep. Please be aware if you haven’t selected our white glove delivery service the bike will require some assembly, which we recommend be carried out by an experienced mechanic.
