The 2027 Scott Spark RC Comp brings the fifth-generation Spark RC carbon platform to riders looking for a capable XC bike with straightforward Shimano components. Built for cross-country racing, training and fast singletrack, it pairs an HMF carbon frame with 120mm suspension front and rear.
RockShox suspension with TwinLoc control
A RockShox SID fork and SIDLuxe Select+ shock help the Comp tackle roots, rocks and technical XC trails. Scott’s TwinLoc handlebar remote provides three suspension modes, so you can adapt the bike for climbs, rolling terrain and descents without reaching down to the shock.
Wide-range Shimano 12-speed gearing
The Shimano Deore 12-speed drivetrain uses a 34T chainring and 10–51T cassette, giving you a broad choice of gears for sustained climbs and faster sections. Shimano two-piston hydraulic disc brakes handle braking duties, while a Syncros dropper post adds room to move when the trail points downhill.
A practical route into carbon XC
Tubeless-ready Alex rims and Maxxis Aspen 29 x 2.4-inch tyres complete the build. The Comp is a strong option if you want the new Spark RC chassis while keeping the drivetrain mechanical and the finishing kit practical. The frame also features an adjustable head angle and Scott’s latest cable integration.

Bike Build & Delivery
All our bikes are built in store and thoroughly inspected, before carefully packing back up for shipping. If you have selected our white glove delivery service, the bike will come to you ready to ride and the driver can help with some basic bike setup (Saddle height and suspension) at your doorstep. Please be aware if you haven’t selected our white glove delivery service the bike will require some assembly, which we recommend be carried out by an experienced mechanic.
