The Charter+ 4 Nexus 5 Belt 540 Wh is a low-maintenance and easy-to-use city e-bike for commutes, joyrides and everyday errands. Its adjustable cockpit lets you customise the ride fit from an upright, comfort-first position to a more active pedal-efficient fit. It comes ready to roll with an e-bike-specific Shimano Nexus 5 internal gear hub paired with a long-lasting and silent Gates CDC belt and a Bosch Performance Line motor with 540 Wh battery. It's topped off with a 63 mm SR Suntour coil-sprung fork to smooth out bumps and rough roads. Assembled in Germany Explore the factory in Saxony, Germany, where every European Trek, Electra, and Diamant bike is built. A better way to produce aluminium Starting in 2024, we began removing high-emission aluminium from our manufacturing and replacing it with low-emission aluminium made with renewable energy. By October 2025, nearly every alloy bike we make - this one included - had made the switch, driving a major drop in our footprint.

Bike Build & Delivery
Every eBike is fully built, checked by our workshop before dispatch or collection.
If you have selected our white glove delivery service, the bike will come to you ready to ride and the driver can help with some basic bike setup (Saddle height and suspension) at your doorstep.
Please be aware if you haven’t selected our white glove delivery service the bike will require some assembly, which we recommend be carried out by an experienced mechanic. See assembly instructions here
