The SCOTT Addict 50 is a fast, comfortable carbon road bike built for riders who want genuine performance without the aggressive position of a pure race bike.
At the heart of the Addict 50 is SCOTT’s HMF carbon frame, designed to balance stiffness, low weight and comfort. Compared with SCOTT’s more race-focused platforms, the Addict offers a more relaxed riding position with a taller stack and shorter reach, making it better suited to long days in the saddle without taking away the sharp, responsive feel you expect from a modern road bike.
The frame is also designed to absorb more road vibration, helping reduce fatigue on rougher surfaces and longer rides. With clearance for tyres up to 38mm, the Addict is more versatile than a traditional race bike too, giving you the option to run larger tyres for extra comfort, grip and mixed-surface riding.
The Shimano 105 12-speed mechanical groupset gives you dependable, proven shifting with a 50/34T chainset and wide-range 11-34T cassette, while Shimano 105 hydraulic disc brakes deliver consistent stopping power in all weather conditions.
A Syncros RP2.0 Disc wheelset paired with 34mm Schwalbe ONE folding tyres gives the bike a fast but comfortable setup straight out of the box. Finishing touches include a Syncros carbon seatpost and integrated handlebar tool.
At approximately 8.9kg, the SCOTT Addict 50 delivers an excellent balance of speed, comfort, versatility and value. Bike Build & Delivery
All our bikes are built in store and thoroughly inspected, before carefully packing back up for shipping. If you have selected our white glove delivery service, the bike will come to you ready to ride and the driver can help with some basic bike setup (Saddle height and suspension) at your doorstep. Please be aware if you haven’t selected our white glove delivery service the bike will require some assembly, which we recommend be carried out by an experienced mechanic.
