Designed for avid off-road cyclers, it marries boosted traction for punchy climb stages with stability for swift downhill rushes. Built on a high-pivot platform with an impressive 170 mm front and rear travel, it promises exhilarating ride experiences every time.
This versatile bike flaunts a playful combination of a 29” front wheel and a 27.5” rear wheel. The pairing promises an exciting balance between nimble handling and fast rolling. When it comes to gear shifts, the Shimano XT drivetrain ensures clean, smooth transitions across different terrains.
The Slash 8 Gen 6 features a robust Alpha Platinum Aluminium frame with internal storage, an idler pulley, and high pivot suspension. It boasts a FOX Rhythm 36 fork with Float EVOL air spring and a GRIP damper along with a Fox Performance Float X shock for optimum suspension performance. This mid-fat, rock-crushing bike is accentuated by a Bontrager Line Dropper and the MX wheel set-up.

The Slash 8 Gen 6 has the unique high main pivot design that employs a rearward axle movement as the suspension compresses. This results in ultra-smooth trail rides with greater momentum and unparalleled traction. Additionally, the oversized idler effectively eliminates pedal kickback and boosts the anti-squat effect for efficient pedalling. The lower idler, on the other hand, enhances chain tension and further smoothens shifting and suspension performance.

Bike Build & Delivery
All our bikes are built in store and thoroughly inspected, before carefully packing back up for shipping. If you have selected our white glove delivery service, the bike will come to you ready to ride and the driver can help with some basic bike setup (Saddle height and suspension) at your doorstep. Please be aware if you haven’t selected our white glove delivery service the bike will require some assembly, which we recommend be carried out by an experienced mechanic.
