Electric-bikes »  Electric Hardtail Mountain Bikes

Is an electric hardtail right for you?

A hardtail has a suspension fork to help absorb bumps at the front, without a rear shock or suspension linkage to service. The right choice still depends on your routes and the model’s intended use. For consistently rough or technical trails, compare full suspension electric mountain bikes as well.

Compare the equipment you need

Look at fork travel, tyres, brakes and gearing alongside the motor and battery. If the bike will also be used for commuting, check rack and mudguard compatibility and whether lights or other equipment are included. These details vary between models.

Help with sizing and availability

Our Whitefield team can help you compare frame sizes and riding positions, check availability and discuss setup. Contact Cookson Cycles before travelling if you want to see a particular model.
