Redesigned for ‘22 from the ground up, the all-new Trek Checkpoint range, the veritable Swiss Army knife of bikes.
Whether you’re maxing out the huge 45c tyre clearance, bike packing with its multitude of load carrying options or Gravel Grinding your way to work, this bike will do it all.

Key tech including T47 threaded bottom bracket, internal stow away frame compartment, integrated frame luggage and mudguard and rack mounts all wrapped up in an unmatched ride quality of an OCLV Carbon frame with IsoSpeed and progressive gravel-specific geometry.

There is even room in the Checkpoint range for a budget zapping aluminium range serving up the same appetite of versatility as it’s Carbon big brother.

Introducing Trek Checkpoint
Trek’s flamboyant Checkpoint range has already earned a place in the heart of riders and staff alike here at Cookson Cycles.

A super versatile, mile munching machine capable of Winter training rides, long distance summer assaults, bike-packing, multi day tours or just getting off the beaten track for a while.

2022 welcomes the Trek Checkpoint with open arms and all of its subtle and significant key changes spread across three core models, the ALR utilising Trek’s proprietary Alpha 300 series aluminium, the Carbon SL with the proven 500 OCLV layup and the top of tree Carbon SLR with OCLV 700 – as good as it gets, foregoing some of the everyday fittings in favour of a slicker lighter bike for racing!

Firstly, we see the SL and SLR range assume the impressive front end of Trek’s Emonda road bike, shadowing the super slick lines and focusing on Kam tail aerodynamics. Aero profiles hint at Trek’s racing pedigree and a push in the direction of this new genre, with some Gravel events taking in hundreds of kilometres you’ll be glad to know every pedal rev is more efficient.


Integrated cabling and IsoSpeed technology which first reared its technical prowess for Fabian Cancellera in Paris Roubaix, pretty much a decade ago, gives the Checkpoint rider the comfort and confidence to go faster and further than before.
Internal frame storage borrowed from the Trek Slash and Trek Fuel EX makes its debut here, allowing even more storage capabilities for the essentials.

Switching it up with a traditional seat post on the SL range over the previous Trek Proprietary seat mast opens up the use of a dropper seat post for really aggressive riding on the Trek Checkpoint SL Range

The Aluminium Checkpoint models are supported by the same progressive geometry for 2022 and also assume the traditional seat post, they use the and give bags of confidence inspiring sure-footedness to the rider.
