Whatever you ride, the new Trek Fuel EX has you covered with lots of ways to adjust your geometry and suspension - Big day out, quick spin on your local trails, blast around a trail centre or fancy an enduro race, you want a bike that does all, the Trek Fuel EX is bike for you!

With an increase of suspension travel, 140mm rear combined with 150mm fork gives you confidence to commit on the trickiest descents without having to carry drag around a long travel bike.

A longer reach and slacker headtube (64.5 degrees) over the previous model, gives you increased stability for the steepest of trails, together with a steeper seat tube of 77.5 degrees for more efficient pedalling and together gives you excellent control for the tricky technical climbs.

One of the new features of the Trek Fuel EX, is the ability to make the bike feel even better for how you like to ride: -

Use the lower shock chip to adjust suspension progression, from out the box the bike is setup in the less progressive setting to offer a plusher ride, flipping the chip offers more bottom out resistance to suit a more aggressive rider on trails with bigger hits.

Trek Fuel EX Lowerlink
Trek Fuel EX Minolink

Adjustable geometry with the Minolink, with the standard low setup for maximum stability and then flipping the Minolink to high offers quicker handling for half a degree steeper head angle and a bit more ground clearance with a higher bottom bracket.

And for ever more options you can upgrade with an angle adjust headset cup that lets you go a degree slacker or a degree steeper – 63-5 – 65.5 without effecting the bottom bracket height.

All together that is six different geometry options that let you pick from more nimble, neutral or more stable ride.

If you want to take things further the bike can take a 160mm fork which then would make the bike mullet compatible for maximum agility and throwing whips!

Checkout the dynamic geometry tool on trekbikes.com to see how this all adds up.
